Dr. Stamatis Voliotis is Professor and Chairman of the General Department of the National University of Athens. He is a Computer & Informatics Engineer, University of Patras, with a PhD from the same department, and postgraduate studies in the Department of Computer Science at New York University (MSc Electrical & Computer Engineering Dept.Syracuse University, NY, USA).

He has served as:
• Deputy Chairman of the Foundation Council, TEI of Central Greece (Mar. 2014 – Sep. 2017)
• Chairman of the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Technological Applications, TEI of Chalkida (TEI of Central Greece) (Sept. 2011 – Mar. 2014)
• Director of the School of Technological Applications, TEI of Chalkida (Sept. 2003 – Aug. 2006).
• Head of the Automation Department, School of Technological Applications, TEI of Chalkida (Sept. 2000 – Sept. 2002).
