Transportation

Special Student Ticket

To facilitate the transportation of university students, a special student ticket is issued, according to the following criteria:

a) Full-time students of the first cycle of study who do not already hold a university degree are entitled to a special student ticket for the number of years required to obtain a degree, according to the indicative Study Program increased by two (2) years.

b) Part-time students of the first cycle of studies who do not already hold a university degree are entitled to a special student ticket for twice the number of years required to obtain a degree, according to the indicative Study Program.

c) Students who are citizens of member states of the European Union and of third countries, who are studying at local universities within the framework of the European Union's 'Erasmus' mobility program, are entitled to a special student ticket for the duration of their studies at local university.

Termination of student status for any reason automatically entails termination of the right to hold the special ticket card, which in this case should be returned to the Department Secretariat

In order to carry out the electronic application for the granting of a pass by a student of the first cycle of studies, the access codes (username – password) granted to the registered students by the Department for the electronic services of the Foundation are required. In case the student has not received the relevant codes, as well as for any other access problems, he/she can contact the Department Secretariat or the Network Center of the Institution.

After successfully logging into the system, the student must confirm the correctness of his/her details. In the event that the student finds any mistake, he/she should contact the Department's Secretariat or the Institution's Network Center, in order to make the relevant correction. Next, the student must fill in the rest of the personal information that will be asked of him/her

It is noted that in case of loss of the pass by the student, the request for its reissuance will be made upon approval by the Secretariat of the relevant Department. After the above approval, the process is repeated as described above.
