On 11–12 May 2023, at the amphitheater of the Regional Palace of Chalkida and the Amphitheater of the Evripos Campus, the conference entitled "Energy MAterials and NATural rEsources (EMANATE) 2023“ was organized under the auspices of the Region of Central Greece, The aim of the conference was to bring together experts from academia, industry and government bodies to discuss developments in the field of energy, materials and natural resources.

Head of the Conference Organizing Committee was the Professor of the Department of Agricultural Development, Agri-Food and Natural Resource Management Dr. Vasileios Stathopoulos who was also Head of the Conference Scientific Committee . The Assistant Professor of the Department of Agricultural Development, Agri-Food and Natural Resource Management Dr. Maria Koukou was also member of the Scientific Committee, while the Assistant Professor of the department Dr. Ioannis Doukas was also a conference speaker.
