Recently announced by the prestigious body Times Higher Education, the very important global ranking of Universities "THE University Impact Rankings".

It is an evaluation of the ranking of Universities worldwide, based on their economic and social impact, as assessed in relation to the seventeen goals of sustainable and sustainable development of the United Nations. This ranking is being published for the 5th consecutive year, and this year's edition is the largest to date in terms of University participation, including over 1,700 Institutions from 110 countries and regions, in 18 tables – a for each of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as an overall ranking.

 

This year's announcement reserved for the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens the highest performance and distinctions in its history since for the first time it is ranked among the best 10 Universities worldwide in Goal 5, which concerns the policy and actions of the Institutions for Gender Equality, ranking 9th among 1081 Universities. In addition, EKPA is in 27th position worldwide in Goal 4: Quality Education and in 69th position in the world to Goal 10. "Reducing Inequalities". In addition, EKPA occupies extremely high positions and achieves distinctions in other four individual objectives of economic and social development, in which it is for the first time, in all four,  the same year in positions 101-200. The rise of the Foundation is made all the more significant when one considers the fact that University participation increased by 21% compared to last year (1700 this year from 1406 in 2022). The results of the ranking confirm the significant impact that EKPA has on improving social well-being, economic development, tackling social inequalities, education and health.
